Apart from comfortable and picturesque settings, do you love good spicy dishes? I am not sure where the love of this food comes from, but I think subconsciously seeing my mother with the red bottle of hot sauce eventually crafted a craving for a pop in flavour. And so I went searching.
I had gone to Bombay Bites after the lunch crowd to find it quiet and awaiting my arrival. You may think that having a restaurant to yourself is a bad sign but on the contrary. The service and food was equally exquisite. And so, with the Simpson Bay bustle below my feet, I sip the creamy cold drink, tear the warm naan bread with my fingers, place its roasted garlic flavour on the altar of my tongue and wade through the thick red sauce of spicy masala fish curry and then do it all again.
