The “going grey” hair dyeing frenzy is now being hotly pursued by another elderly trend: granny panties. Right now, they are more desirable than skimpy thongs. Who would have thought? But, hey, I am sure you've always had one or two at the back of your underwear drawer since one of the Twelve Reasons Granny Panties are Making a Comeback is because they are perfect for periods. Some may beg to differ.

So why did this trend surface? Some believe that women should dress for themselves while other have struck gold having found the balance between sexy and comfortable. In the New York Times article, Young Women Say No to Thongs, 22 -year-old designer, Julia Baylis, made a bold comment highlighting how women wear lingerie for men and not for themselves. “This is underwear totally for you.” The same article noted the increase of sales in granny underwear by 17% while thong sales have fallen by seven percent. Maybe this is the case now everyone is watching.

Funny too.  And, I agree that they should change the term, granny panties. It’s after all a stereotype.  Based on the discussion, people think that thongs cause health issues, but really when it comes to underwear, simply, first wear the right size and avoid underwear that chaff. At the end of the day, what's under is your business.
