Today’s video is step by step how I apply makeup as a beginner. This “No makeup, Makeup Look” can be worn every day and applied in less than 12 minutes.

Here we go. The results of makeup video number one. The grand finale. The end results. However, if all we do is show the end results, you'll miss the drama of the journey, the lesson in the middle. Love the whole process, end included.

My Journey as a Makeup Newbie

There I was plying shadow on my eyes, overcompensating with little to poor results. My lids bat back nearly as clean and uninterrupted as they were born. Where is my difference? Where was my impact?

I went back to my makeup mentor, batting my eyes. I was close to giving up, close to settling with the inferior results that I was getting. She picked up on the error. I was using the wrong brush.

I was amused and also deeply relieved. The issue wasn't with the quality of the eye shadow or my novice experience. The funny thing, too, was that I, in fact, had the brush that she was referring to.

How many of us literatlly give up or settle with the results that we get? That I would saw now is uncalled for. We shouldn't give up. We shouldn't settle.

We should seek mentorship. We should analyze the process and assess each variable and continue the process.
