If you are anything like me, sometimes your wardrobe needs a new breath of fresh outfits, pieces that mingle well with the citizens in your closet.
It so happens that this season is filled with food, family and gift-giving. Depending on where you are, you may build snowmen or sink your toes down into warm sand. If you plan to sing carols, bake a big bird or book a flight for an island getaway, why not let these petite outfit inspirations make your holiday merry and bright?
Step outside, away from the crowds, skip red and green decorations and pick your outfits from the hillside and coast of our island. These five outfit ideas stay true to the breath-taking blue of our island. This collection is simple and embodies the elements here on the island. Simple is enough.
You can never go wrong with this first outfit, the lush green of a flowing vest and a snakeskin sheath dress. Both are sleeveless so you can really soak up the sun and let the breeze kiss your arms. We found these wild horses on the hillside. A color scheme worth noting. Pair this duo with a gold choker and jewel-tone slippers.
Off to the beach with second and third outfits as sand is as close to snow as we get. Make denim elegant. This soft denim dress has a vented back and side slip. It is fuss free and moves when you do. Deck this dress with a chunky statement necklace and an eye-catching clutch. Sit back and enjoy the ocean waves rolling in.
Let the patterns collide. This top is romantic with its blue stripes and ruffles is paired with patterned shorts and a pop of purple. Nature gives you the authority to wear this pairing. Take the sand and wrap it around your feet as a textured peephole loafer.
Sheer sleeves and polka dots remind me of foam and a shell-speckled coast. This black dress can be dressed up or down and this takes the fuss out of what to wear. Metallic works well with this knee-length dress. Want to amp up the elegance? Swap out the little black dress for a strong blue one.
The final outfit is a pairing with familiar pieces, the clutch and choker. This dress has a thin strapped crisscross at the back and is a delicious royal blue. It is the ocean personified. It moves! Celebrate the elegance of movement and nature. Bring the outside into your closet.
